A Benin based Pentecostal Pastor, Ndoka Nkanchukwu, has confessed to conspiring with his lover, Mrs. Isongoyo Enebong, in killing her husband, Mr. Victor Enebong, a manager with the NPDC who was found by men of the Nigerian Police, murdered last month in Edo last month.
The pastor who was paraded along with three other suspects yesterday in Benin City said they conspired to kill the lover’s husband and declare him missing but after stealing his car a VW Passat and changing the particulars.
Edo state Police commissioner Mr. Foluso Adebanjo, addressing newsmen, said that the woman who earlier reported her husband missing turned out to have conspired with the pastor who is her lover to commit the crime.
He however said that investigations are ongoing and that the case will be charged to court once it is concluded.
The commissioner added that other suspects who were paraded including 6 kidnappers and several armed robbery suspects who would soon appear in courts of competent jurisdiction.
