No fewer than five persons have been reportedly killed in Ndabe-Allah, about five kilometers to Dogon-Dana in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Sunday Pilot gathered that the weekend killings were a reprisal attack.
It was learnt that the incident was a retaliation of previous attacks suspected to have been carried out by Fulani herdsmen.
According to checks by this paper, a set of suspected cattle-Fulani herdsmen allegedly stole some cows in Ndabe-Allah which the owners attempted to retrieve.
Not long after their arrival from where they went to repossess their stolen cattle’, the thieves came back and launched an attack on the owners of the cows in Ndabe-Allah, killing about five persons and injuring many.
Though as at press time details of the incident was still sketchy, however, the Kaduna state police commissioner, Olufemi Adenaike, in a telephone chat, said investigation has commenced on the matter.
