The leadership of the Club Owners Association in Nigeria, has visited the injured Chairman and the Secretary of Heartland FC at the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri.
The club owners went to sympathise with Heartland officials, Chief Fan Ndubuoke and Mr Oscar Keke, who were involved in a road accident.
The Acting Secretary of the club owners association, Alloy Chukwuemeka, confirmed the visit to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ilorin on Tuesday.
He said the delegation, led by the Acting Chairman of the association, Mr Isaac Danladi, was received by a top official of the Owerri-based club, Mr Tonnex Chukwu.
Chukwuemeka said that Chukwu took them to the recuperating officials.
The club owners’ boss delivered the sympathy of members of the association to them and also prayed for their quick recovery.
Chukwuemeka said that Danladi assured the injured officials and the management of Heartland of the continuous support of the association, especially at this trying period for the officials.
He said the officials thanked the association’s leadership and members for their support and praised God for saving their lives from the accident.
NAN recalls that both Ndubuoke, and the Club Coordinator/Secretary, Keke, were involved in a road accident while on a club assignment in Imo.
They sustained serious injuries during the accident.
