A Non-Governmental Organisation, NGO, Green Apple Charities, established by singer, Janelia, in conjunction with Eko FM is organising a Bring Back Our Girls Free Benefit Concert.
The event will hold on Wednesday, 14th May, 2014, at the Eko FM Complex, Lateef Jakande Road, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos, from 10.00am till 4.00pm, and will feature volunteer speakers, comedians and artistes such as Janelia and her band, JaneliaSoul, who will also volunteer and supply musical equipment as well as Pro Audio Sound system.
According to the organisers, “International bodies and artists are already creating similar awareness worldwide and we believe the same should happen here in Nigeria. This benefit concert will make a statement here in Nigeria and to the international community that we care about this issue and will not just stand by and be silent.”
