Akwa Ibom State governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio has applauded Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, for highlighting the activities of government especially the transformation agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan.
Governor Godswill Akpabio made the commendation last week Friday when the Director-General of FRCN, Dr. Ladan Salihu paid him a courtesy visit at governor’s office, Uyo, remarked, “I am proud of the Voice of Nigeria and FRCN, which are heard within and outside the country because most Nigerians listen to radio a lot.
Akpabio observed that “And I must thank you and the management of FRCN for highlighting the activities of government and for the support given to President Jonathan on his transformation agenda. I must also commend the director-general of the FRCN for the transformation brought to bear on the corporation.
Speaking earlier, the Director-General of FRCN, said they visited the state for their conference which is holding in the state, and commended the governor for an incomparable transformation of the state in the areas of roads, health care service, power sector, E-library, underground drainage system, among others, saying that the projects have brought the state Governor closer to the people.
