The office of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Youth Vanguard, Taraba State branch has been attacked by people suspected to be thugs.
The youths reportedly numbering about twenty allegedly stormed the office in the night at about 12:42 am to vandalise the youth vanguard bill board carrying the portrait of President Goodluck Jonathan situated at the entrance of the office of the PDP National Youth Vanguard, in the State capital.
The State coordinator of the NYV, Stephen Ibrahim Agya, who disclosed this to newsmen, said that on June 19 one Adamu Mohammed called him and scheduled a meeting with him, which was later held in the Ag Governor’s residential house.
According to him the Ag governor’s aide threatened him and warned him to stop parading himself as the state coordinator of the NYV in the State, adding that it was the Ag governor alone that had the responsibility of appointing the state coordinator in the State.
