If feelers from gist merchants are anything to go by, then, Kunle Afoloyan, a prolific movie director and actor has dropped as a Glo ambassador few months back. His contracted according to Olofofos was terminated following the appearance of Afeez Oyetoro, Saka in Afolayan’s latest movie, ‘Phone Swap’.
The unconfirmed reports says, the movie allegedly sponsored by Globacom had ‘Saka’ a new brand ambassador to rival network, MTN and former etisalat ambassador as one of the lead characters.
Sources says prior to the termination of his contract, Kunle Afolayan has had a smooth relationship with the company and did not go against any terms in his contract.
Even as we cannot reach any of the two parties for comment, it is wise to know if it is still safe to refer to the thespian as a glo ambassador.
Just hoping this is not true as people know very well that, Kunle had been working on his movie project long before he was approached to be a Glo ambassador.
