House of Reps’ aspirant calls for positive change

Ms. Nkiru Daniella Ukpabi, a House of Representatives Aba North/Aba South Federal constituency aspirant, has said called for positive change for the people of Aba federal constituency as she promises to bring about the desired change if elected.
She disclosed this yesterday in People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Headquarters in Abuja while obtaining her nomination form.
According to her, Aba as a commercial place has over the years suffered a lot of setback due to lack of infrastructures.
“Aba is a major commercial city everybody knows that, but when you look at the city a lot of people are leaving Aba to other cities to buy things, a lot of people that would have come to Aba like Ariarie market for shopping are not coming because of bad roads. They actually need somebody who can bring them the kind of change they need,” she said.
She noted that the kind of empowerment women and youths from Aba need was beyond sharing bags of rice and clothes adding that they would have something very sustainable.
“When we come on board, we are going lead an industrial revolution in Aba and equally going to help solve the problem of unemployment in Aba. I am not going to empower people by sharing bags of rice or giving them clothes, but we are going to have something very sustainable for the people. Enhance technical skills, bring in industries that going to empower our young people, empower them with skills they will need to do better, when they leave Aba.”
