‘North Central’ll vote massively for Jonathan’s re-election’

 

North Central Zonal Coordinator, Jonathan Actualization Movement, JAM, Dr Mike Omotosho, has said that the people of the region have no reason not to vote massively for President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015.

Omotosho said the achievements of President Jonathan in the region outstanding, stressing that Nigerians should make President Jonathan their choice again.

The Coordinator in a statement issued in Ilorin yesterday described the Abuja Centenary City project, Abuja-multi-billion naira Water Treatment Plant and renovation of the Military barracks among others as some of the reasons why the FCT must vote for the President in 2015.

According to him, “The people of Kogi State must consider the President because of the establishment of Federal University, Felele, Lokoja, the dualization of the 212 kilometre Lokoja-Abuja Road, the Lokoja -Okene-Benin Road and the 434mw Geregu Power Generating Plant II among other projects.

He also listed the establishment of Federal University, Lafia, construction of 3 MDG/NDE skill acquisition centres in each of the three senatorial districts, construction of Export Crop Preservation Conditioning Centre and establishment of Cancer Treatment Centre at the Federal Medical Centre, keffi as some of the achievements of the president in Nasarawa state.

“The Resident Envoy for Polio in the Nigerian Development Partners Group said President Jonathan did not neglect the people of Niger State with the Dualisation of Suleja-Minna Road, Construction of Almajiri schools and Dry Season Farming Project, saying the Baro Ports conceived in 1954 came to life under the President.

While giving President Jonathan’s stewardship in Kwara, Omotosho mentioned CBN Project at Offa Grammar School, Tada Shonga Irrigation farm project, on-going 2 by 132kv line bays extension at Omu Aran and the rehabilitation of Ilorin International Airport among others.

He further described the construction of the Faculty of Social Science, Faculty of Post Graduate Studies, International Conference Centre and hostels in University of Jos funded by CBN through TETFund among other feats the President recorded in Plateau State.
