IGP denies arrest order on Tambuwal

Inspector-General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba has denied issuing any arrest order on Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal.
IGP, in a statement through the Force Public Relations Officer, acting CP Emmanuel Ojukwu also denied issuing arrest order on any particular person involved in the attack on Policemen, or the disturbance of public peace at the premises of the National Assembly, Abuja on Thursday, 20 November, 2014.
The statement reads in part: “Rather, it lies with the investigating Police Officers to determine who to invite, quiz and prosecute as the case may be.
