President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ibinabo Febresima has embarked on a massive suspension of erring members including Lagos chairmanship aspirant, Don Pedro Aganbi among others.
The AGN’s axe fell on the members following their action to run a parallel association while there is an existing executive dully sworn in by the National body to run the affairs of Lagos chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN. In a similar fashion, the immediate past Chairman of the Lagos AGN, Emeka Rising Ibeh has been expelled for corruption and Anti-guild offences.
The Lagos state chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria has been enmeshed in crisis following the June election which saw the emergence of comic actor, Victor Osuagwu as chairman. A new faction has since emerged and it is being led by Victor Osuagwu’s opponent in the June 15 election, Don Pedro Aganbi.
