Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, Senator Bala Muhammad has described the conduct of yesterday’s presidential election in Bauchi state as the most successful.
Senator Bala Muhammad was speaking with Journalists shortly after casting his votes at Jibrin Aminu Model primary school Bauchi last Saturday, where he expressed happiness with the turnout of people and the way they conducted themselves during the accreditation and the voting process.
He explained that throughout his political era he has never seen people come out to vote massively as well as conduct themselves in an orderly manner without any rancour or political thuggery like it was today.
The FCT Minister commended electorates for taking the pain to wait for accreditation and voting proper as arranged by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Meanwhile, in Azare, the headquarters of Katagum Local Government Area of the state, the turn out in most of the polling units visited was highly impressive but at Makanza election material arrived late.
