Turn out impressive, says Emir of Gwoza

Emir of Gwoza, His Royal Highness Alhaji Mohammad Shehue Idrissa Timta has described the turnout of voters in Borno as impressive.
Alhaji Timta said this in an interview with Nigerian Pilot Sunday at Government College Maiduguri one of the IDP’s camps which was assigned for his people displaced by Boko Haram.
“I want to assure you that our people are going to cast their votes peacefully and you can see the accreditation is ongoing without any problem.
“I can also tell you that the turnout of the people is at apex rate and I pray and am optimistic that the voting will be hitch free”, said the royal father.
Mean while, our correspondent who went round various polling units within Maiduguri the capital city of Borno state, including Shettimari 1 where Governor Shettima registered, observed
that there are pocket of problems in some places.
At the Government College IDP’s camp, some electorates complained that they were with their temporally Voter’s cards but they were not allowed to participate in the exercise.
More so, INEC personnel reported late to lamisura Jabamari unit but they attributed their late coming to poor logistic as they had to walked for many kilometers before reaching the place.
Also, at one of the units in the Polling area of the town, it was discovered that INEC personnel were unable to operate the card reader machine.
