Market capitalisation of the Nigerian stock market closed on a negative note yesterday as NSE ASI depreciated by 0.50% to close at 34,533.40 basis points, compared with the 0.21% depreciation recorded previously.
Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at -0.36%.
Market breadth closed positive as Skye bank led 19gainers against 36losers topped by Vita Foam at the end of yesterday’s session- an unimproved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes positive as volume moved up by 427% against 16.86% uptick recorded in the previous session. UBA, LASACO and Skye bank were the most active to boost market turnover. NB and Nestle top market value list.
