Bayelsa community commends Jonathan over $500m oil project

People of Agge Federated community in Ekeremor local government area of Bayelsa state, have commended the out-going President, Goodluck Jonathan for the establishment of $500million oil and gas investment project.
HRH Giant Isiaye and Mr. Stephen Fiyepade, in a statement made available to newsmen yesterday in Warri, the community expressed happiness for the project, which they are already benefiting from.
“We appreciate Mr. President’s decision to establish the $500million oil and gas project. This is indeed a welcome development and we are glad that we are already benefiting from this project”.
According to them “Our amiable out-going President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has performed beyond expectation and Nigerians will definitely remember him for the transformation programmes and projects he has put in place before the expiration of his tenure in office”.
They urged the incoming government of Muhammadu Buhari to ensure that he completes all approved projects especially the $500m oil project relocated to Bayelsa in order to create more employment for the youths.
The project is a partnership between LADOL Integrated logistics Enterprise and Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea.
These companies are to build a fabrication and integration yards for Egina Floating Production storage and Off-loading (FPSO) facility for the use of local and foreign-owned oil companies.
