Ajimobi vows to give youth empowerment, education priority

Dignitaries across the Oyo State at the weekend gathered at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium Ibadan to witness the swearing-in ceremony of Senator Abiola Ajimobi as the governor of Oyo State for the next four years.
The dignitaries included Deputy governor of Osun State Grace Titilayo Tomori-Laoye, the speaker of Oyo State Hon. Mosurat Jumoke Sumonu, the Chief Judge of Oyo State Justice Mutari Oladipo Ambimbola , Head of service Soji Eniade, All Progressive Congress APC, in Oyo State Chief Akin Oke, The Alaafin of Oyo Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi 111 .
Others included the GOC second mechanise division, Major General Kabiru Muazu , Oyo Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Mohammed Katsina, Director of SSS, Joseph Oboh Comptroller of prison, Tajudeen Aremu, NDLEA state director Omolola Falode, Military Administrator in Oyo in 1996-98 Col. Ahmed Usman, Milad 1993-94 Admiral Adeoye Sode, the General Evangelist CAC world wide Evangelist Samuel Kayode Abiara, President Baptist Convention Rev. Supo Ayokunle ,Bishop ALaba Job of Catholic mission, Senator elect, Soji Adejumo among others.
Addressing the gathering, Senator Ajimobi said the new administration will give education, agriculture and empowerment of the people the desired priority.
Ajimobi who declared that the era of ‘amala and gbegiri politics ‘ is gone forever in the state warned the trouble makers to stay away from the state noting that his administration will not hesitate to deal with them accordingly.
