Abdullahi recently assured that he would find time to meet President Goodluck Jonathan when members of the 1994 African Nations Cup winning squad met him in Abuja over the matter.

He said he would meet the president to seek a way of giving them the house promised them by the government of former Head of State, late General Sani Abacha for winning the competition.

The minister specifically promised to meet President Goodluck Jonathan to ensure that the promise is redeemed. He commended the team for being patient stressing that Goodluck always rewards citizens who bring honour to the country.
