Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, Osun state branch has said that, there is no going back on its five months old strike.
The union took the decision at an emergency congress held at the state high court yesterday in Osogbo.
Addressing, the congress which lasted for five hours, Chairman Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, in the state, Mr Jacob Adekomi resolved that the union would continue with the strike since JUSUN was affiliate of NLC which was currently on strike in the state.
Adekomi urged members of the union to stay in door until further directive by the NLC.
He called on state government to urgently look into all labour related issues in the state to save workers from untold hardship.
Speaking, the Chairman, Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria in the state, Alhaji oladapo Oseni said the union decided to suspend the strike due to government to grant full autonomy to judiciary by September.
Oseni noted that the union had no option than to abide by the directive of NLC, saying NLC was supreme organ of all labour unions in the state.
It would be recalled that JUSUN leadership had announced the suspension of its five months old strike last week Friday.
