Interim national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Bisi Akande has boasted that nothing would stop APC from capturing power in 2015.
Chief Akande, who said this during the meeting of the leaders of the party held in Abuja yesterday, added that the immediate preoccupation of the party was the registration of members and creating structures for the party through congresses.
“The task before our party therefore is clearly cut out, that is, to create a partnership with the people to decisively change both tone and substance of governance in the country. The Nigerian state must not only be strengthened but reconstituted to become the veritable tool of resolving and managing the fundamental challenges confronting the nation.”
The meeting had in attendance, General Mohammadu Buhari, Nuhu Ribadu, many of the APC governors, members of the National Assembly and who is who in the party.
