The political adviser to the Delta State Government, Chief Ighoyota Amori, has said that with the track record and outstanding performance of Dr. Ngozi Olejeme so far, she has all it takes to pilot the affairs of the state if she is willing to be part of the race in 2015.
Chief Ighoyota Amori who stated this at his residence in Mosogar, Delta State, weekend, when Dr. Olejeme visited in his country home over the death of his mother, described his relationship with Dr. Ngozi Olejeme as that of a brother and sister.
Chief Amori who said his relationship with Dr. Olejeme started before she contested for governorship position in the 2007 general elections, said this would be her second attempt in the governorship race in the state.
Meanwhile, the chairman Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund, NSITF, and chairman Trust Fund Pension PLC, Dr. Ngozi Olejeme, has described the late mother of Chief Ighoyota Amori as a great woman who has immensely contributed to the political activities of the nation.
She stated that the contribution of Chief Ighoyota Amori in the state would not have been possible without a great woman of substance who has given her children the conducive environment to strive.
Dr. Olejeme, who is also the chairman ‘U and I’ Development Foundation, averred that her foundation has always been part of the Urhobo nation through various empowerment package to uplift the status of the less
privilege in the society as well as the vulnerable and disable.
She expressed appreciation to Chief Amori for his effort in ensuring that the mission of the foundation is achieved.
The NSITF Boss admonished widows to be steadfast and dedicated to the service of God and put their problems in God who is the husband to the widows, just as she condoled Chief Amori to see God as his last resort.
However, Chief Amori said his community has benefited immensely from various empowerment packages of her foundation, saying that Dr. Olejeme has impacted the lives of more Deltans than any woman in the state.
He therefore called on all Deltans to rally round Dr. Ngozi Olejeme in ensuring that the aims and objective of her foundation is achieved.
On their part, members of the Urhobo Political Forum, UPF, who were present at the gathering, commended Dr. Olejeme for her outstanding performance and effective representation of the state at federal level, urging her to keep the flag flying as she will ripe her good works in due season.
