Governor Isa Yuguda of Bauchi State has charged citizens of the state to consider their New Year resolution towards peaceful co-existence among themselves irrespective of their religious, cultural or political bias.
The governor made the remark in his New Year message for the 2014 where he said citizens should always continue to fervently pray for continued peace and harmony in the state and the country in general. He urged Nigerians to assess their performance in the last one year and take stock of happenings during the year with the aim of planning for better in the New Year.
He reiterated the commitment of his administration to promote peaceful co-existence among the citizens especially in providing adequate security of lives and property of all citizens of the state, saying that government would not leave no stone unturned in our effort to ensure the sustenance of peace in the state.
