EtsuNupe and chairman of Niger state traditional council,AlhajiYahayaAbubakar has charged Nigerian leaders at all levels in the country to always ensure justice among their followers in order to promote peace and unity of the country.
Abubakar made the call yesterday at his Wadata palace in Bida when former Information Minister, Prof Jerry Gana paid a condolence visit over the demise of the KpotunNupe, AlhajiHaliluUsman.
EtsuNupe also urged leaders to always have the fear of God in everything they do, while reminding them of day of reckoning in whatever position they find themselves.
He said the death of Usman was a big loss to the Emirate, Niger and the country at large, he described late Usman as a detribalized Nigerian who always stood for the truth and unity of the country.
Earlier, Professor Jerry Gana noted that he was at the palace to commiserate with the traditional ruler over the death of his uncle Usman.
