Captain of Bayelsa United, Salomon Junior has said that no amount of frustration will deter the team from getting a good result against Sewe Sports in the CAF confederation cup match today.
Bayelsa rejected the poor hotel arranged for the Nigerian side on Friday when the team arrived in Abidjan and noted that what happened at the first hotel has instead toughened them for the task ahead.
“We are ready. We know what we are here for. The fact that Sewe played some fast game when we arrived at the hotel will not disrupt our plans to get a good result in this first leg of Confederation Cup.
“Everything is working well for us. I am confident of my colleagues and what they can do. That is why the confidence level of the team has greatly increased after we found out their game plan and promptly rejected the hotel on Friday.”
The players however settled at the Ibis Hotel and had a light session yesterday ahead of today’s game which comes up 4.30 pm Nigerian time.
