West African Examinations Council WAEC has announced the extension of the registration period for the November/December 2014 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), for private candidates to Monday, August 25, 2014.
In a press statement issued Monday by the Deputy Director, Public Affairs Department, Y. D. Ari, said that the extension is as a result of the appeals from candidates, parents, guardians and other stakeholders,
The statement urged all intending candidates to pay the normal registration fee of N11,400 for the examination, at branches of any of the accredited banks.
It however said that all intending candidates should ensure that their entries are uploaded not later than 12.00 midnight on Monday, August 25, 2014 when the registration website will be shut down.
