After several teams indicated their interest to compete in this year’s National Division Two tournaments, the Nigeria Basketball Federation, NBBF, has declared its readiness to host the teams as from today at the National Stadium Abuja.
A release from the federation revealed that the participating teams are expected to trickle into the Nation’s Capital inside Package B of Abuja National Stadium.
The week-long tournament qualifies teams to division one which is the feeder league for Dstv Premiership from where two teams are promoted annually to replace two relegated sides at the end of every season.
At the end of last season, Niger Potters and Royal Hoopers were relegated from the Dstv Premier League.
