Agbim heads 24-man list of home players for international friendly

Gombe United FC goalkeeper, Chigozie Agbim, will lead the Super Eagles Team B in an international friendly to commission the Akwa Ibom International Stadium in Uyo on Nov. 7.

According to a statement by Ademola Olajire, the Assistant Director (Communications), Nigeria Football Association (NFA), team head coach Stephen Keshi has also called up Emem Eduok and Mfon Udoh.

Both Eduok and Mfon are in the hunt for the Top Scorer’s award in the 2013/2014 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Other players called up are Gbolahan Salami, Rabiu Ali, Christian Pyagbara, Bright Esieme, Umar Zango, Solomon Kwambe and Azubuike Egwuekwe.

The statement said the players are to report at the Le Meridien Hotel in Uyo on Monday.
