Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Rear Admiral Gboribiogha John Jonah (rtd), has expressed appreciation to Nembe Ward 3 members of the Peoples Democratic Party for their impressive turn out during the Ward Congress for the election of three delegates of the Party.
Speaking at Nembe after the Ward Congress, the deputy governor thanked PDP faithful for their peaceful conduct, stressing that they should continue to support the Transformation Agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan and Restoration Government of Governor Seriake Dickson.
He also assured the people of Ward 3 and indeed, Nembe people, especially the women and youths that there are plans to empower them, saying that they should not relent in their resolve to vote for PDP in the forthcoming elections.
He further implored the youths of Nembe, not to thwart the developmental efforts of the State government adding that more dividends of democracy will come to the area.
At the end of Ward Congress, Prof. Inengite Nyanayo, Hon. Beinmo Jonah and Mrs. Comfort Joseph were duly elected as Delegates.
