Inspector General
of Police, IGP Solomon
Arase has promised that
the Police force under
his watch will advance
security operation in
Nigeria.
The IGP also said
he would ensure that
Policemen exhibit the
highest ethical standards
in the performance of
their duties.
The Police Chief
stated this at the Force
headquarters, Abuja
yesterday when he
received his kinsman
and Governor of Edo
State, Comrade Adams
Oshiomhole.
Governor Oshomole
was at Louis Edet House
to solicit partnership with
the Police Force, where
he promised to integrate
Police safer High-Way
patrols into Edo state
operation Tunder-Storm.
Oshiomhole re-affirmed
his decision to partner
with the Nigeria Police
Force in the area of
logistics.
He saluted IGP Arase’s
giant strides since
assumption of office
and maintained that
the impact of the IGP’s
wealth of professional
competency is being felt
in Edo state, as a result
of his intervention in the
security situation in the
state, and that citizens
from across the nation
have started feeling the
benefit of IGP Arase led
NPF.
