4 persons killed in Plateau village

Suspected Fulani
gunmen yesterday allegedly
killed four people at Rakung
village in Barakinladi
Local Government Area of
Plateau State.
The victims, our
correspondent gathered,
were villagers returning
home to their families
but met the unfortunate
incident in the hands of the
gunmen.
According to Mark
Lipdo, coordinator of a Jos
based nongovernmental
organization, Stephanos
foundation, he said those
killed are Pam Babel,
Solome Pam, Luka Gyang
and Joy Toma.

Dachomo Ayuba who
spoke to newsmen on
phone lamented a situation
whereby Fulani gunmen
attack and killed innocent
people at will without any
arrest by the Special Task
Force STF on Jos crisis.
The spokesman of the
Special Task Force STF
Captain Ikediche Iweha
could not be reached for
comment as he did not
pick his call when our
correspondent called for
confirmation
