The 10th annual English Language Teaching Today, ELTT conference opens today September 11 and will end September 14.
Organised by Association of Teachers and Researchers in English as a social Language, NATRESL, the four-day conference holds at Elizade University Ilara Mokin, Ondo State.
The programme with the theme, “English Language Teaching and 21st Century Teacher Competencies” is expected to host scholars within and outside Nigeria, just as papers would be delivered on various topics.
Vice Chancellor, Elizade University, Prof. Valentine Aletor is the chief host while the keynote address will be delivered by Prof. Ademola Dasylva of the University of Ibadan, UI.
Also lead papers would be presented by Dr. Rotimi Taiwo of Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU Ile-Ife and Prof. Demola Jolayemi of Elizade University, while workshop on language learning activity design will be directed by Dr. Peter Aborisade of Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA.
Registration fee for the main conference are: old members (N7, 000), new members (8,000), non-members (10,000) undergraduate students (N500), post graduate students (1,000) and foreign participants ($300).
Also, registration fee for the workshop is free for members while non-members and foreign participants are to pay N2, 500 and $50 respectively.
