Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Lamorde yesterday said the commission is not selective in the fight against corruption in the country.
Lamorde disclosed this yesterday at a one day workshop by the commission for reporters covering financial crimes, in Denis hotel, Wuse 2, Abuja.
He said that there is a notion in some section of the media that the commission is selective in investigating persons suspected of committing economic crimes, that only those who have fallen out of favour with the powers that be are touched by the commission.
The chairman further added that corruption has threatened all sectors of the economy, including the media.
He advised the media to exercise its constitutional mandate as the fourth estate of the realm in other to move the country forward.
