MTV Base has named Nigerian rapper, Olamide, as its Artiste for the Month of March.
Olamide came into limelight in 2010 with his hit singles.
He was recently a co-host on MTV Base’s weekly music chart, Official Naija Top Ten with MTV VJ, Ehiz.
He will also be featured on the channel throughout the month of March.
As a means of putting the spotlight on this sensational Nigerian artiste, MTV Base has put the music video for Olamide’s ‘Turn U’ on high rotation.
An excited Olamide said, “I’m so excited that MTV Base has decided to celebrate my work. It’s a big priviledge to be honoured by a huge platform like MTV and it can only get better.”
