Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda has been commended for executing meaningful projects in the state especially across the rural areas. The Emir of Ningi, Alhaji Yunusa Muhammad Danyaya, made the commendation yesterday, when the Governor paid him a courtesy visit in his palace.
He said the governor was able to execute projects that has even eluded both the civilian and military administration in the state for the past years but was executed by Governor Yuguda, which many Ningi people are still proud of.
“Previous administrations in the state made effort to execute some projects in our area but found it difficult to execute such as the Ningi-Burra road but was executed by you, which made me to nominate you for traditional title. As soon as we conclude arrangement, we will notify you of the title for contributing towards the development of Ningi emirate,” he said.
The Emir also explained that the Governor has made tremendous effort in the area of maintaining peace in the state, which is a vital ingredient for development and charged the governor to continue with such effort especially in completing the remaining projects in the area.
Earlier speaking, Governor Isa Yuguda said he was in the palace to pay a royal homage to the Emir as well as welcome him back from his medical trip abroad, saying that the Emir has contributed immensely towards the development of the state.
Governor Yuguda thanked the emir for his fatherly advice and urged him to continue especially towards sustenance of peace in his emirate and the state in general.
Governor Yuguda inspected some projects within the emirate before returning to the state capital.
