Chairman of Ezeemo Group of Companies, Mr. Godwin Ezeemo, has called for the cooperation of wealthy Anambra indigenes to initiate measures that would create jobs and empower the youths.
Ezeemo, who made the call in Awka yesterday, noted that such measures would help to reduce criminality in the society as well as help government in its response to security challenges.
Commending the government proactive measures in tackling the security challenges, he said that the state governor, Chief Willie Obiano started his administration in a right direction by ensuring the security of lives and property in the state.
According to Ezeemo, “The Governor needs the support of all of us to move the state forward.”
He affirmed that he, on his own part as an industrialist had empowered over 1,000 youths in the state with his establishments both educationally, publishing and farming in Awka, the state capital, Onitsha and Umuchu in Aguata Local Government Area of the state and was ready to do more.
